Robbie Williams wants to work with Noel Gallagher

Robbie Williams has revealed he wants to write music with his old sparring partner Noel Gallagher.

Posting on his blog this week, Robbie confessed, “'I know it's pretty redundant, but I'd love to write with him." The Take That star also added a link to Noel’s new single The Death Of You And Me, perhaps in an attempt to butter him up.

Robbie, who is touring with That Take in Europe, has a fiery history of feuding with Noel. In 2000 Rob famously invited Noel to “lick his arse”. Unsurprisingly Gallagher turned down Rob’s offer, but not to fear, as a consolation he said he like to suck Robbie’s “man boobs” instead. Saucy stuff.

Tempers flared up again in 2007, when Noel told The Mirror he understood why Robbie’s solo album Rudebox wasn’t nominated for a BRIT award. "The music he makes is f***ing dog s**t," he said, before adding, "And I think even Robbie would probably agree with that."

But the pair managed to kiss and make up earlier this month, finally ending their 11-year feud. Robbie left an apology note for Noel backstage at an Oasis gig, which was signed “D Cup”, in reference to Williams’ supposed man-bosom. “[Robbie] decided it was time, now they are both married men, to draw a line under the whole charade,” a source told The Sun.

Now that everything is back on track with the boys, fans can expect to hear a crooning ballad from the pair soon. One about friendship and rainbows. Or maybe not.
