Noel Gallagher’s new house party

NOEL Gallagher has been reliving his Hacienda days in the car after demands from his four-year-old son Donovan.

The Oasis legend revealed: "He says, 'Dad can we have some acid house please?'. I'm going to have to sample it and stick it on a f***ing record because it sounds great."

He also took a pop at Mick Jagger's new supergroup, which features Dave Stewart, Joss Stone and Damian Marley. Speaking to online music mag The Quietus, the High Flying Birds singer admitted: "I'd love to do a supergroup as long as it wasn't like Superheavy. F***ing ridiculous. You know, me, Johnny Marr, Mani, and Paul Weller. That would be great."

Sounds like a cracking idea...

Noel will be joining Absolute Radio on October 12 to co-host the Breakfast Show with Christian O'Connell.

Christian said: "Noel is a legend. There's nothing he doesn't know about making records but, that said, he knows bugger all about being a DJ so I'm getting the bleeper machine ready."
